factory gap is not that crash hot ..

when I pulled mine out the gap was all over the place..

gapped to .7 mm/27 thou made the engine feel down on horses...

gapped to 32 thou / .81 mm and horses back and better response under 2500 rpm

It's Amazing how 5 thou can make an engine difference

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

What would be the best Plug Gap for the BA XR6 N/A??? Would it be the same as the "T"???

Cheers.

If you are keen drop your gap by .1 of a mill and take her for a run..Then drop it another .1 and see if there is a difference

I think is is 1.1mm from factory ...

But you will probably find that your sparks are not the correct gapping in the first place...

Thanks, I've bought some performance plugs and want to get it right the first time.

If I went to the 0.9mm gap straight away I wonder if that would cause any problems??

Cheers.

not realy the gap for example on a dunnydoor is 1.5 this is for better spark the only reason you should go lower than the 1.1 is if you had higher comp or more boost std plugs are iridium and shouldnt require replacement for at least 50,000 ks and some manufactures recomend 100,000 ks

Dynowog,

I've done some fairly significant mods to the N/A but no internals at this stage. My Km's are starting to get up there and the car gets driven fairly hard (redline nearly everyday), have I wasted my money on Spitfire platium twin sparks for my N/A??

Thanks in advance.
