What are those shocks worth. Why are they better than the ones you can adjust on the car? or is it a price thing?

They are usually around $300 each corner. Not cheap ... but good. On car adjustables aren't available for the BA as far as I know. They are also dearer again.

I might mention that the adjustment only effects the rebound (extension) travel and not the compression damping. The problem with screwing it all the way to "stiffen" the car is that the car will "jack down" on corrogated surfaces as the shocker recovery rate is to slow...the next step is loss of wheel travel and hence traction.  :spoton:

That's right. If you have standard springs in your car leave the Konis at their factory setting as it is usually fairly close. The initial adjustment setting I mentioned was on the basis that GT springs were going to be fitted to this car.

As I said I have found I've had to wind them up a fair bit to get the ride control over my cars with fairly heavy springs in them.
