`hello everyone,

I have my turbo getting a body squeak fixed by my local dealer and although I have said I wont be doing any more mods to the car for another year or so I have the chance to get the springs fitted tomorrow.

So, I need info on the size of spring some of you guys have used, how low the car is now, plus ride and performance info.

Pics would be great.

It is 8.00 in the evening here in NZ and I have to order them in the morning in order to have them fitted by tomorrow evening.

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks gavin :w00t2::msm:

Gavin,

I have had the SL's on the front, and the SSL's on the rear (A combination many have used on the forum)

Looks great, lowers it a reasonable amount, and also stiffens it up quite a bit improving handling, but at the expense of a little ride comfort.

Much nicer with a lower stance :msm: , but you have to be a bit careful on driveways etc some times :gooff: !

Can't find my pictures of it at the moment, but I'll post if I do !

I have SL's all round, makes enough difference visually to be noticeable without the need to constantly worry about gutters etc, stiffened up a bit, corners better and the ride hasnt changed, not that I can notice anyway.

Dazza.

SL's at the front SSL's at the rear, lower springs at the rear to keep the car level and reduces nose dive upon braking.

So when do you pick it up ?

What's the verdict ?

Hard to believe really but it was supposed to be ready tonight but got busy at work and forgot to pick it up before the dealership closed. Will be getting wheels aligned tomorrow so will let you know at the weekend.

Hope its a step forward. :spoton:

Maybe mine does have SSL's at the rear then, cause mine looks pretty level to me.
