Haven't noticed it. I tend to live with the air con. permantly on. :D Something to do with living in Brisbane , gotta love the humidity here. B)

so are the wipers there not the same either, they stuffed with everything when they fitted the alarm.

when I put my hand behind the"power outlet" theres alot of air moving when the fans on flat out is this normal?

dont sound normal to me. you should only have air coming out the vents that you have selected! sounds like a good dealership not to go to, to me they shouldn't have needed to pull the dash out to fit the alarm. or pull the wipers off for that matter! is the siren in the area below the windscreen under the wiper arms. hope not would get nice and wet when it rains!!!

Having the factory alrm fitted by my dealer, it appears that the siren is fitted in the front panel drivers side just behind the wheel. Don't know if this is fords way but I would be bloody hard to get to. And no the air shouldn't come out from the parcel tray, Take it back and suggest while they repair it you take that nice shiny demo XR8 as a loan car.
