Whats the current expected release date in Au? I went and reserved my copy now they have finally finished it and the game shop I went to said they have been told January 5th, last time I checked it was December 14th (around there) Said they would call me if it comes in before Jan 5th...

Sony's Playstation website only lists GT4 as arriving in 2005. I have enquired at EB and they have said late january/early Feb. It was originally supposed to make Christmas, but got bumped back.

was originally supposed to be Jan 2004 but has been delayed 3 times, I couldnt see the release dates between japan, north america and europe (which Australia usually falls under) being any different than a few days, one would also think sony would want this one out before christmas.

A friend of mine over there was told March release for AU when he went to pre-order... I thought my Jan 5th was bad....

Someone on another forum mensioned it is funny Sony have picked Jan 5th for GT4 in the US since that's the same day Forza Motorsports comes out on the XboX here. Not sure whats funny about it, but sounds like statergy of some kind.

Then the Falcon is the xbox of cars then, better design, better features, better specs but doesnt match the competition for units sold.

Do you have anywhere that shows it's "official" the only official Aussie car I have seen on the list for GT4 is the BA V8 Supercar... Although the VY V8 supercar and other street cars from the Ford and Expensive Daewoo range are rumoured.
