I run an xbox into a home theatre projector and 84 inch screen, 7.1 surround sound system. Xbox games have real time 5.1 dolby digital and the resulting gaming experience is sensational, graphics and sound. there are also close to 500 games for the xbox platfom. Halo and Halo2 alone are good enough reason to buy one, V8 supercars/2, colin Mcrae rally, wolfenstein, red faction, splinter cell, call of duty, Cant comment on PS2 but am more than happy with Xbox

I have to agree with Mercturbo, I have my Xbox running through the home cinema and it is great. Geea will confirm this!

The PS2 now lives in the family 4wd playing dvd's for the kids (It's a good size to mount in the car)

I'd got the X box. They're more capable of doing thing. My mate has one with an 80gb upgraded HD (bout $300 including mod chip to play burnt games) and it can store movies and games on it so you can just hire them out and copy them to the HD. It can also store music and you can play it whilst playing some games too. Its pretty nifty, made me regret buying a ps2 :spoton:

Clocked it. The games essentially the same as Halo 1 with a few exceptions. I have to say I was dissapointed. Multiplayer Halo 2 is great fun though!

On topic: Go the xbox. I had mine modded with a 200g HD about a year ago and haven't looked back. Can store many games, movies and music and my mod also included console emulators, one being for the PS1 so u can play your PS1 games on the xbox if you wish.

Cheers,

Chris
