You are the master of arguing AROUND the point and you are now arguing AGAINST what you yourself posted re the motor mags getting better times in manuals. IN STANDARD CARS was the 'understood' parameter here was it not?

Firstly, my original point was about the possible better times for the auto typhoon when it arrives given that current results show that the auto Ts are faster than the manual Ts down the quarter.

I then said that

But notice that most manuals in the motor mag do better than the autos???

Which is a leading question for anyone open to provide an answer.

I didnt state anything about stock of modified.

After your next post I was answering your statement about manuals being superior where I posted the example of the best time in a manual being a 12.9.

the fact that it is modified or not really isn't relevant other to the point that it is a high 12 second time. If the manual is better then why isn't it at high power levels.

You then went on to assume too much about my, well, 30 odd words of typing. Perhaps you should ask for clarification before you go off next time. Assumption seems to be a major problem for some people on this forum especially when they are geared up about some personal issues.

You don't have to read me back your quotes, or mine for that matter. I know what you posted and I replied to it. Clearly. Directly. Go back and read it properly before you post another reply.

And then you can come back to me with where I mentioned manuals being "superior". I didn't use "better" either. Another of your terms. I used the word "faster" as I remember. There is a distinct difference in my mind, but maybe to you it's all the same???

The only assumption I made about your post was that, as you referred to cars tested by mags, I 'assumed' you were talking about standard cars. Sorry if the mags you were referring to were testing Stage 11 APS cars or whatever.

And while we're playing "point the finger" I might add this. You have a bad habit of misinterpreting other's posts and then going on to misquote and misrepresent what they have actually said. I don't mind having a good debate with you, or anyone, but you have to stay to your point of discussion and stop changing lanes halfway down the track.
