I notice my right rear suspension squeeks a little sometimes when I get out of the car, only happens very occasionaly and hasnt happened since I had my car lowered 3 weeks ago.

Dazza.

Guys, I had EXACTLY this problem in my XR6T (descriptions are so close to my experience it is eerie) and Ford fixed it completely. They dropped the suspension out, replaced the suspect bush, and lubed other stuff while they had it out.

Dead silence now.

BTW: 2 other XRs at the same had similar squeeks. Is this a systemic problem - something altered at the factory causing it?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

yep the same in mine. 10 week old xr6t. can go over big bumps with no noise but then over little deviations in the road it will squeek like crazy. annoying the :spoton: out of me.

already done 10500kms so I will wait till 15k service. if ford cant fix it I'll :glad:

Can't help with sedans, but if someone has a squeaky ute this may help. The rear leaf springs on my T ute have been rubbing on the chassis. All I can say is atleast they got the engine right. Cheers

This is from the dealer network (technical Service Bulletin)....I'm pretty sure this is the problem. :gooff:

I wonder what implications that modification would have on the strength of the towers...
