Well, I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be.....unless of course you were doing something unusual when it happened....like hitting a brick wall at high speed.

Mine sprung a leak and Ford covered under warranty no dramas. In fact, they discovered the leak and just ordered the new radiator prir to me even knowing. They put a nice shiney silver one in, when I'm pretty sure it had a black one in originally.

Mine split both sides of the radiator, very similar Ks to Robs. We both had to get replacement rads within a week or 2.

No questions asked, they just chuck a newey in.

My first replacement was black (warranty), but then the second replacement (genuine ford part) after the "dopey b**ch pulled out in front of me" incident is the shiny silver that you speak of. Not real fussed on it, but at least it matches the colour of the intercooler that is starting to peel.

Go buy some matt black spray paint. I resprayed our intercooler and it hasn't come off after 15,000km since I've done it.

It was like $2 from makro warehouse :glad:

Me too, just recently got a silver replacement - looks like a dodgy component supplier
