enjoy

The Sports Steering wheel is just the Ducks Guts. Chunky, meaty fit in your hand.

I considered an auto but I am too bloody lazy with the amount of peak hour driving I do.

I have enough manuals around me that I can get the urge out of my system.

are the wheels 17's or 18's?..

I've heard alot of negative things about the mkII wheels but I rekon they look pretty good.

Hmmmm big 5ch amp sounds interesting! Might be the only easy way out with the factory ICC. I got a PF mag with a red T in there that has an awsome setup with a 5ch amp, all MTX gear. Pretty big amp, running 2 12s of it too!

Only problem I have is the remote wire for the amp. As I dont have premium audio (only prestige) there is no factory amp in there and no remote wire that I could use to turn the aftermarket amp on and off. I dont like the idea of a switch nor do I want the amp on all the time.

The radar detector is a loaner, until my 3 piece remote gets installed tomorrow.

Saved me a $100 today

Can you guys use radar detectors in WA?

What brand/model unit is it?

What brand/model is the 3 piece unit you are getting?

By the way, love the car, been tossing up on getting the Sports Steering Wheel, I think I now will!

I also see that Ford have a MKII tissue box, it is now black and blends in better, I think I need a life when I am talking about Ford Tissue Boxes!! :spoton:

Yes in WA radar detectors are legal, although if the cops can see it they tend to think of you as a serial speeder, and treat you accordingly.

The loaner is a Bel XR950, it aint too bad. The reception on Multanovas is not as good as the three piece, but still plenty of time to slow down with the Premium stoppers.

My 3 piece is a BEL Vector LR remote, I believe it has been superceded as it is about three years old. Gives about 200-400m warning on Multanovas, so has saved me a bit of money since I had it put into my old WRX.

The Sports Steering wheel ain't cheap, but it is very nice indeed, pictures don't do justice to how good it feels.

Got to take you to task over your average fuel consumption of 13.9 l/100km shown on your ICC. That is pathetic, take your skirt off and start driving it like a man :gooff:
