So before I bought my car, I tried to get estimate thru the site - after selecting turbo and next - got cannot do online referal or similar error. So I rang them up, under 30 no turbo :(. With AAMI - sure you can but pay upfront, yeah right :D :D5k premium for 67K car is too much, IMHO, as I'm paying ~2.5k for 50k for mine. Would they reduce the premium if you put additional protection like - gps tracking or alike.

I still went with (the devil) RACV for insurance in the end but AAMI will insure a 22 yo T driver so you just need to persevere with them on this one...Cheers,Miyagi

They haven't updated their online app yet to include it (so you can't get the $50 discount :( ). Shannon's was about $2960pa private, no extra to pay monthly. dankman Member 270 Member For: 21y 7m 2d Location: zadank village Canberra Posted 09/11/04 11:10 PM Share Posted 09/11/04 11:10 PM I've just been talking to the NRMA.With a 65% no claim bonus my premium was 1732.64 pa. When I turn 25 early next year this is reduced even more. They said I should cancel the account and then start again. If I had household and green slip I get a further 10% discount. Mind you though, this is living in Wagga Wagga.
