That is indeed interesting, for a couple grand more retail the GT would still definately be my pick, those Typhoon times one would have to say are a tad disappointing, at least for those (like me) not into modding.

About time the GT pulled a 13.8 in its own right, without all the crap... I'm sure in next issue they would have the F6 going faster than the GT... Give it another month fellas, they need to get used to it first (apparently its different to anything else trying to launch).

Give it time....

You could easily modify a GT to around 260rwkw as some have done on this forum. After that there's cappa Supercharger kits and APS are apparently considering one for the Ford V8 as well. If you like the 8 don't let anything stand in your way :w00t2:

There's a at least a couple of guys on FF that have got modded GTs or XR8s at least one with a blower and they are still only pulling low 13s or high 12s down the strip due to ECU limiting torque. Once they have been Edited these times will come down.
