The Typhoon front mount Intercooler is a cool $1200 or so, only available to those who own a Typhoon, and can provide SIDO, VIN etc. :Imwifhim:

could we just get someone on here who has a typhoon to buy one for us? at $1200 it's a bargain!! :ppb:

The twin dash pod assy is available, and not on restriction, Bout $300 would get you the holder, surrounds, and whatever gauges you wanted. Wiring and senders extra.

what gauges are available??

Dave.

^^^anyone going to answer my questions??^^^

Dave.

The price for the Typhoon rod is wrong, more likely around $250ea. I am getting it checked out now. Really just better to get custom rods made up. I still cant work it out cause rod p/n 6200A is std turbo rod, 6200B is LPG rod and 6200C is 270kw typhoon rod. I have already compared the 6200A and 6200B and they are pretty much the same rod and looks less strong in the beam area than an E series rod but stronger in the big end area in some respects. So I would expect the typhoon rod to be a stronger casting but where then is the stronger LPG rod p/n. Unless its not listed yet or the parts guy could not find it. These parts guys can drivy ya crazy sometimes :Imwifhim:

I am still sourcing part numbers for senders etc. At this stage, oil temp and air pressure are the only 2 that I can reliably confirm.

I have also heard that the Phoon bottom end is different to the T as well similar to the Sti to the Wrx,things like rods, pistons, gudgeon pins etc, maybe Venom xr6 can confirm this

MY apologies to Venom xr6 as the rods are not billet I was told the wrong info, either way they are stronger than std and would think they should be good for 350+ rwklw

        C YA JEFF :glad:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The only thing different in the bottom end is the rods.

There is really not alot of difference between them in appearance but they can have different widths, weights, metallurgy etc. I think some rods have an oil jet squirter to shoot some oil up to the bottom of the pistons. Gudeon pins are fully floating on the turbo motors too.
