Would you be able to provide the part number for the LPG rod and the Typhoon rod plus list prices. I've been looking for that info for ages.

Regards

Would be nice Mick if you could get a hold of both rods & tell us what you reckon & weigh them against what we have now.

For you Scotty, anything!

They will make great paperweights after I finish!

Any of you know if it's true that the F6-270-Turbo engines water-cooler oil filter is the same as the one fitted to the V8's and that the coolant for it is sourced from the heater by-pass tube. Would it be the same cost as the V8's one.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Not 100% sure on that one, to be honest I didn't know the Boss engine ran a water oil cooler! You learn something everyday! :gooff:

But I do know, that the Typhoon uses different heater pipes, so the coolant would be sourced for the oil cooler via them. :spoton:

Mick, does anyone know whether the T56 will bolt stright onto the series one?

Or does it require modification? I am hoping that they have adapted the T56 to the car and not the other way round with the mark 2.

Hmm wonder what my chances of getting the T56 as a replacement box instead of the T5?

Have you got a part number by any chance?

We haven't even received any sort of GT/F6/XR6T with a T56 as yet, im thinking there is a supply problem. I will be comparing both boxes up on hoists when a car arrives fitted with a T56. :gooff:

I think I remember the part number on the T56, it is BA 7003 E for the XR6T, and BA 7003 F for the Boss. I am still awaiting pricing, PANDA still doesn't have a price loaded up yet. :spoton:

Thanks Mick, would be interested in your findings once you have had the chance to get it up on the hoist :o

ms700,

Could you please tell me what the part number is for the shift buzzer Typhoon GT-P and what else is needed (and if can be purchased through any FORD dealership regardless of what model the car is).

Cheers.

I belive the F6 has a shift light and buzzer. It comes on as you starting running out of revs for each gear. Pretty sure that's how it works. :spoton:

When your tachometer hits a certain revolution ie 6000 rpm, a buzzer sounds!

No problem.

And the Typhoon rods are as cheap as chips! Going by Catman, they are $12

Will report back with part numbers tomorrow. :beerchug:

Crikey Mick if they are anything like $12 we'll all be buying a set for that D day.
