The twin dash pod assy is available, and not on restriction, Bout $300 would get you the holder, surrounds, and whatever gauges you wanted. Wiring and senders extra.

Does that mean I could go down to my local dealer and order the dash pod assy and gauges for $300? Would that include the same gauges as included in the typhoon?

Thanks

The Typhoon front mount Intercooler is a cool $1200 or so, only available to those who own a Typhoon, and can provide SIDO, VIN etc. :nono:

could we just get someone on here who has a typhoon to buy one for us? at $1200 it's a bargain!! :ermm:

Mick, does anyone know whether the T56 will bolt stright onto the series one?

Or does it require modification? I am hoping that they have adapted the T56 to the car and not the other way round with the mark 2.

Hmm wonder what my chances of getting the T56 as a replacement box instead of the T5?

Have you got a part number by any chance?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

JB,

From what im told the starter motor bolt up is different, The rear cross member and rear mount is new. The mount no longer has the centre bolt, instead it uses 4 nuts to hold the mount to the cross member.

The F6-270-Turbo (Typhoon) transmission has a unque clutch housing to allow for the Twin plate clutch.

Thankyou.

Would that be the same specs then as the Mark 2 T with the T56? :pinch:

Reason I ask is for the possiblity of being able to bolt the T56 off the series 2 straight onto the series 1 T.

I called a couple of Ford dealers about the gauges and they said that they are only available to people with FPV's and they are not available for a month or so anyway.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well when we got the updated catalugue, I checked all the relevant part numbers on PANDA, and at the time, the gauge pods were not on restriction.

The availability of the gauges might be sketchy, ie a month or so, but they are available to all, not just FPV owners. :spoton:

Any of you know if it's true that the F6-270-Turbo engines water-cooler oil filter is the same as the one fitted to the V8's and that the coolant for it is sourced from the heater by-pass tube. Would it be the same cost as the V8's one.

Would you be able to provide the part number for the LPG rod and the Typhoon rod plus list prices. I've been looking for that info for ages.

Regards

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No problem.

There is DEFINATLEY two different part numbers for the LPG rods and the Typhoon rods. And the Typhoon rods are as cheap as chips! Going by Catman, they are $12 list each! :o Catman has been renowned for being riddled with mistakes though! :gooff:

Will report back with part numbers tomorrow. :spoton:

We haven't even received any sort of GT/F6/XR6T with a T56 as yet, im thinking there is a supply problem. I will be comparing both boxes up on hoists when a car arrives fitted with a T56. :gooff:

I think I remember the part number on the T56, it is BA 7003 E for the XR6T, and BA 7003 F for the Boss. I am still awaiting pricing, PANDA still doesn't have a price loaded up yet. :spoton:
