sykes Member 408 Member For: 21y 7m Location: Brisbane (Parkinson) Posted 03/11/04 04:32 AM Author Share Posted 03/11/04 04:32 AM Well it cost us $40 for the mornings events. (I think this was a special deal with the XR Club), and then it was going to be $75 for the afternoon sprint session. These prices may only be special prices for the XR Club as they have some sort of affiliation going, but I am sure that the cruise organisers from here could probably get something sorted out with Gene. I think the pice is up around the $175 mark for half day track sessions. But don't quote me on any of these as I am sure numbers and a few other things probably come into play when price is negotiated.

sykes Member 408 Member For: 21y 7m Location: Brisbane (Parkinson) Posted 03/11/04 06:51 AM Author Share Posted 03/11/04 06:51 AM Actually I have heard that we might be taking on the HSV boys out there one for some sort of inter club challenge. That would be a good day. Although I know a few boys from the HSV club and they are very serious when it comes to track sprints. Like they go the whole hog, special pads, fluid, and tyres. This could be a bit of a one sided affair but still fun all the same.
HellionXR6T I'm Back!! Thats right, long over due! :) Lifetime Members 4,348 Member For: 22y 4m 14d Gender: Male Location: West Brisbane Posted 04/11/04 10:19 AM Share Posted 04/11/04 10:19 AM Scotty....You want it, you organize it by PM'ing Ian (GOLDIE) about it. He is "Cruise-Control". The Christmas Cruise is the next 'official' QLD cruise. I know you guys want a performance event so Scotty, if you can have all the paperwork on deals, prices, etc. at the BBQ so Ian, Goose, (if he's coming), and I can look at it. I'll print some of the stuff I may still have on the old PC.I could start up a thread just to see if the numbers will be there but not before we choose what package we want.Oh and Sykes, looks great. Glad you guys had fun.
