its an XTC cooler made up of cast end tanks and bar and plate core the core sizes are 450 x 300 x 76 and soon 100 second size is 600 x 300 x 76 and if we can sqeeze in the 100 coolers are coming specifically from a japanesse co.

as to wastegate I asume you mean boost creep? shouldn't be a problem

No at this stage we had only dummied up the cooler to sort out mounting brakets etc..  We will be able to test pressure differences once it is all in I imagine ?

I'm not sure why we would need to modify the wastegate when we fit a bigger/better intercooler? but no we have no plans to modify the wastegate (Well at least not just yet, and not for the intercooler upgrade !)

Re the wastegate, the APS guys were saying that, due to the additional airflow from their intercooler setup, the standard wastegate does not provide enough capacity to keep boost in check.

Just another thing to look out for.....

thanks but from what ive seen its actually boost spike due to waste gate reaction time! same problem with nissans.

that won't come into play with this application because of the ems and xtc boost controller
