Here is the current Dyno printout with only Cooler/Plumbing and CAI

So what you're saying is got 231rwkws for only a cooler and cai, no exhaust, no computer mods, nothing??

Dave,

Yep, that's what it produced on the dyno !

Bear in mind this vehicle prior to the Cooler and CAI had a healthy 210 RWKW ! :crybaby:

It did cause more frequent overboost (Or whatever is causing it) so this upgrade would possibly best be suited to modified ECU vehicles unless the overboost issue is resolved first (EMS is being fitted today!)

The vehicle will be run on Saturday so people can see the results for themselves.

Fantastic stuff guys :spoton:

I was of the opinion that an intercooler does not add extra power, but infact assist's in pressure and temp drop?

After all these years of turbo cars am I wrong? :ermm:

well jb if you remember pretzel's post in macka's shaker it made 227kw so in efect it only made 5-6 kw's lets say the cai isnt as good as the shaker and most of that would probibly be plumbing! the cooler though doe's give us better intake temps on the road

remember that the factory uses variable boost control so when it see's more boost due to better flow it reduces the the boost acordingly.

I have not got the ems's yet due to a delivery hiccup so I might try a mbc to control boost and see what sort of power we can get?
