Got a bottle of Johnnie Walker blue at home.. but at $200 duty free for a 700ml bottle I might just wait for an extra special occasion before I crack it.

I like a good beer, any James Squire - Amber, Pilsener, Porter, IPA, Strong Ale

Port can be good (had a 1939 Para last year) but I prefer Rutherglen Muscat

Scotch - yes - as Sixfan said Glenmorangie is good. Better than Chivas or Johnny Walker Black. Johnny Walker Blue is soooo smooth that you guzzle it too fast.

However my drink of choice is Red Wine, particularly good aged reds. Any other drink is just an aperitif - something you have before you get to the main course.

Beer - Anything Coopers but especially the 'Dark Ale'.

Spirits - Jamacian Rum, Mt Gaye esp.

Wine - McWilliams Elizabeth Semillion (94/95)

Metala Black Label Shiraz

Wynns Coonawarra Black Label Cabernet Sauvignion

However my favourite choice is a good 'Rutherglen' Muscat. Bailey's Old Vine is quite a good quaffing fortified.

What we have at the moment is a 'Seppelt GR 113 - Rare Old Muscat' It is Liquid Sex
