You getting in expensive area now from my experience.

Falken RT 215, Bridgestone RE55 and Toyo Proxies are semi comp tyres which generally have a stiffer sidewall by reducing tyre pressure to 18 psi you can manage consistant 60 ft in the 1.8s.

You can get them in range of 17 and 18 inch tyres locally.

Street legal DR you are mainly talking about BFGoodrich and Nitto 555r both of these can get you into the 1.5 s 60ft zone but dont think you will get along life from them. I crucified a set of bf goodrichs 265/18 only got 20 runs from them. Mind you they really hook.

Mickey T is about to release a similiar product they are already available but only up to 16 at the moment.

I had to import my own tyres nobody really brings in the BFG or the Nitto, however Tempe Tyres has told me he will bring in the Nitto555r if you order them.

Personally how seroius do you want to be I ended up running slicks and frontrunners on drag rims oh so light.

I stuck with 18 inchrims so I can street drive on either Azenis or BFG

I'd love to get a price on some Nitto NT 555 R P275/40 R27's I would need rims to suit aswell. If I can get 2 of these on rims for under $1200 I would be able to do this if I sold the near brand new unmarked factory 17's with near new tyres and a new spare. 3 tyres are new and 2 have done about 100km's. All tyres are Dunlop 3000A's.

Since you are down at HPF why dont you give my slicks and frontrunners a run I wont need them till end of November.

You might not go back once you use them I would predict a straight up run of a 11.5 followed maybe by some low 11.2

I won't be able to get to Calder till the 26th November. If they are still available then and its not to hot a night I'd love to give them a run.

If the timing right maybe you'll be here and can come too.

Would the offset and stud pattern fit?

Craig how much were these each?

Dazza.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I paid $400 each plus $11 each to have them fitted and balanced. There will also be a freight charge which I don't know how much yet. Probably $50ish.

They were from a bloke called Herman in Brisbane, I don't know whether he has any more. I think he's a mate of Scotty's and Scotty has his number.
