I'm interested to know, if we can display something like this in the open for one, and two what people are being quoted on the typhoon.

The options I've asked for are

The car obviously :P

Metallic paint (which is a NCO anyway)

Leather

Sunroof

Sports steering wheel

and the FPV mats

On the road my prices have varied from 67300 to nearly 74000. does that sound right?

Most of them really dont seem to know where the luxury tax kicks in either, some havent charged it, they say it's already in the price of the car, others have charged me the luxury tax on top of stamp duty and vica versa.

If it's allowed to be answered (mods ????) in a public forum I'd be happy to say where I've got these prices from so far, if anyone can add to the list it would be greatly appreciated.

LCT starts from $55134 (GST inc) and is only payable on the portion of the car over that amount of money. Includes any accessories such as mats etc so you might be better off to buy these over the spare parts counter after you buy the car because you pay an extra 25% for them to be included with the car.

Those prices sound too high, well the $70K+ does anyway.

LCT is included in the RRP. You do have to add the 25% to all options as these dont include LCT but the car price DEFINITELY does. l found when buying the GT most dealers really had little idea so check carefully what they quote you.

l thought the LCT threshold was now $57200 but not 100% on that.

In Tasmania the F6 with no options costs about 64 driveway. Not sure of the difference in rego to the mainland.

From memory those options cost $2750 for the leather

The sunroof has gone up to $2250

And the wheel is about $950

So you have a good 6k worth of options

I would say both those figures are incorrect and the right price is probably just under 70k or very close.

You are nearly right Mondie...well righter than my previous post anyway

It is actually $57009. I got the first figure from ATO website but it seems I didn't read the fine print and that info was out of date. :ermm:

I believe that if the Base car RRP is over LCT threshold then all options must be quoted including LCT same as they must be quoted including GST.

This is true in the F6's case. Do not let the dealer add LCT to the options.

I just rang New Oak Ford in Melb and they quoted me 61K drive away.

I'm buying through my company but they said no fleet discount was available for FPV range, however they willing to take care of me so they cut 5K off the price.

They also said that stock was very hard and waiting time is 3 months. They didn't have any floor stock for view or test drive.
