F6 Typhoon by a long way!!

Will be quicker than the others I imagine. Better weight distribution, better looks, still get the FPV badge! Will be a piece of cake to mod as well plus it's cheaper than the others! :nono:

325i :o My 17 year old girlfriend has one! :nono: (hope she doesn't read this)

If you are going to splurge on a BMW, go the M3 Convertible or new M5 :glad:

Better still........stretch the price and grab a new Murcielago Roadster!! :o

Thanks again for the feedback guys.

In my heart I really want a V8. My Precioussss started out as an XR8, but when I compared the two, XR6T and XR8, I just had to go with the T.

I'm afraid that when the time comes, I'll again compare the Typhoon and a V8 (Expensive Daewoo or Ford) and the Typhoon will sway me away from way I really want .. a V8. :nono:

I'm not big on modding cars (as anyone who knows me will know :msm: ), I just want something that will push me back in the seat and sound (really) good when I start it and as I'm backing off for that next tight corner. :msm: Herrods exhaust?

A little while to go yet, so let's see what the manufacturers come up with, eh? ;)

Youve never had a V8,so I dont see a problem, why would you want another hairdryer???

Just do yourself a favour, and buy a fcuking V8,any brand,as long as its got 8 pots

And get it delivered with tractors on it ,so you can enjoy from day one :nono:

I just love the XY,as old and bumpy as she might be,the sound, :nono: the grunt  the idle

You have to own a V8 befor all that stupid walking kills you.

V8k

I know it's a little early (12 months or so) but I've started weighing up my options for a replacement for My Preciousssss ... :nono:

1. GT-P

2. F6 Typhoon

3. LS2 Clubsport R8

4. BMW 325i

My heart is with the GT-P at the moment. Rapid with Black Stripes.

The F6 is a close second, but I've always wanted a V8 and never owned one.

The R8 is actually quite a good option. Similar price, extra grunt, extra extras???

And the BMW? Is it time to forego boyhood things and settle down with a bit of style and luxury?

Comments welcome. :nono:

The Typhoon would have to be the best bang for your bucks out of the cars mentioned.

I guess in a year or so we'll know what the new 6lt HSV motor is all about and how reliable it is, so presuming it is OK then it would be next on the list.

A GT or GT-P would be nice, especially in the colour scheme you mentioned but at it's present power level represents poor value compared to the Darkside. Only for died in the wool die hard Ford fans. :nono:

Don't know much about BMWs so can't offer any advice.

So to summarise, if it's a V8 you must have, and if Ford run true to form and let Expensive Daewoo walk all over them in the performance stakes then the HSV will be the one to get.
