Guest Phantom Guests Posted 11/11/02 10:46 AM Share Posted 11/11/02 10:46 AM I read somewhere that they operate independently unlike the ghia driving lights that go on with the lights.
Guest harasn Guests Posted 11/11/02 05:59 PM Share Posted 11/11/02 05:59 PM the XR spot lights operate by a switch on the left side of the dash behind the steering wheel. this switch must be switched on and then the headlights turned on to at least parkers for the spot lights to work. The lights that you talk of on the fairmont ghia's are actually the parkers for this model. have a look in the headlight on a car that hasn't got these lights and you will see a small park globe in the bottom of the headlight, on the fairmont ghia the globe is the lower bumper lights. hope this is of some help. I wish they would start building my XR!!!!

And it means they don't come on and off as I adjust the high beams.
