Is major under bonnet replumbing required to fit the shaker, or is it fairly straight forward, hence more cost effective.

The front of the shaker is sitting up to high for me,I know I had a lot of rooting around to get mine right on the XY,Actually had to throw one part of the kit away and knock up my own bits.

Maby that's why the bulge boys dont have that prob?

I dont think the T donk would ever shake,so this being the case I would look at fixing the shaker to the bonnet and not the donk, would save alot of head watsanames, that's ofcourse if its for under bonnet air only, not induction, just my thoughts..

Just want to answer some of your questions.

Hoot the shaker might be a bit high at the front but I wanted it to be level horizontally and it gives it a very aggressive appearance. I don't like the way the one on the XR8 sits pointing downwards.

Unfortunately there is very little room between the engine and the shape of bonnet. I've attached the the shaker to the engine because that's the way it should be and I think that the motor will shake or move a little. As the shaker is being used to feed the turbo induction I also have to make room for the piping and Air filter.

It does look better in real life that the photos and I'll post some when it's completed and clean and in the sunlight .

carty - The colour will be staying matt black as it appeares in the photos and yes it does look good left black.

fordboy 1981 Don't know the cost as yet as it's not finished and I have'nt recieved the bill. I post all info when it's complete. It only looks high from a couple of angles. But the more you look at it the more it grows on you. I have asked them to lower it 5mm. Does'nt sound much but there'd not a lot of room to play with.

turbo 06. There is a bit of replumbing to be done and we are using as much of the factory stuff as possible to keep cost down. As this is the prototype it will be more expensive than others if people want them I would imagine as you know the first one is always the hardest. I am sure that once I get the car running that there will be ongoing small changes untill I'm completely happy.

I personally would have liked it back a little futher, but would have to cut into bonnet subframe and I did'nt want to weaken the bonnet. It's really in the only logical place that it can go.

Hope I've answered some of your questions

Keep the questions coming I'm only to happy to answer what I can.

Yeh,  I'm hoping that it will keep the buggers on their side of line and off the road

Blo*dy nuicances they provide a bike lane and they still want to take up the whole road.  :glad:

When I went to school, we were always told to ride "single file", but nowdays everybody rides two abreast or even three abreast at times!! :ermm:
