Fixing the problem is as simple as changing one constant - the

OVERBOOST_FOR_OPEN_LOOP_DCERROR using the new Flash Tuner. The only problem from the factory is that the 'protection limits' are set too close to actual boost, and the duty cycle control of the wastegate set too coarse and prone to wander. Under the right driving conditions you can trigger the error every time. Resolving the problem is a very easy 5 minute fix using the CAPA Flash Tuner for these cars....plus add 5psi extra boost...safely...just for the sake of it.

And if we could buy said Flash Tuner, then maybe we would, until then another solution is required.

Sorry to be a smart :kissmy: but offering a fix with a product that cant be bought really isnt a solution is it.

Like I have told you several times already Eugene the product is available next Friday night in Melbourne at the Holden/Ford show, 5pm.

At no time in the past have you told me it available or where, if you have please show me where and Ill eat my words.

If we have a release date, then we ust have a price, any ideas. last time I spoke to justin at CAPA he said around $1000. that got you the box, cable and base tune, with the ability to adjust some things up/down by 10%, is this still correct?

When I spoke to Herrods on thursday, he also said, it could be used on more than one car, but not at the same time, in other words you save base tune, flash in new tune, all good, if you want to do another car with the same box, you have to re-flash with the standard tune for the first car, and do it all again for the second car, if this is corect, it would be good, you could have a couple of cars with different mods done and flash between them and see what works and what doesnt. also a chance for a mate to see what it would be like to have a flash without paying, if he likes he can buy, I hope this bit is true.

We have two turbo's and one BA XR8 at work, so there a few guys who would be keen for a flash so to speak.

I would suggest that if its a CAPA product, then you might want to ring CAPA regarding a dealership enquiry.
