QUOTE (mbjunior99 @ Oct 21 2004, 07:46 PM)

ZapXR6T, BCL:

The gauge pods that you have look much better than the one that I have. Where would one get those gauge pods that you have? How much would it set me back? What size gauges does it fit?

This may be a stupid question but here goes: - How does one measure the size of their gauges ... is it just measured straight across?

Thanks heaps

You can order them from Autobarn at around $75 ask for the SS Inductions BA Centre Pod, this is what mine looks like POD

Thanks heaps.

I like the look of Zap's Apexi gaugues (better than Mk2 FPV) but don't like the panel that holds them in. I also like very much the oval Fairmont clock shaped boost gaugue as well.

I have the same panel but I will be feeling the holes so it doesnt have any round plugs holding it into the dash. will try to make some clips  so it can just clip in and getting it sprayed the same color as the centre console or done in a brushed aluminium finnish like the tbar.

Very interested to see this when it's done. Looking for a factory 'look' with guages, which is why I might do the nizpro fairmont clock boost option.

not a fan of the faimont clock look as to me it will always we clock pod and you are stuck with the one type of guge mabe ok in a turbo fairmont if u want it to look conservative, but I want it to look sporty.

Each to their own comes down topersonal taste

regards

:spoton: I've got a boost gauge and water temp gauge from repco for fifty bucks each. They look good and do the same job as the expensive ones.

I think $300 - $400 a gauge is a bit exxy when your probably just paying for the brand name anyway.

:smilielol: "Chips" you should know better! :spoton:

Sorry Ken I couldnt post my pics Im just a member.

They wouldnt let it through.

But I can tell you they are 2 5/8" and fit into the SS gauge holder with a bit of

fileing. They have a black face and I got blue lense covers to match the dash.
