I like the look of Zap's Apexi gaugues (better than Mk2 FPV) but don't like the panel that holds them in. I also like very much the oval Fairmont clock shaped boost gaugue as well.

What is required to install the gauges, ie what wiring to connect up the oil temp and pressure gauge? I take it a new sender/s are required?

bcl> did you purchase direct from greenline in Japan? That must have saved a few dollars?

I didn't purchase from Greenline; I purchased from someone in the NSW wrx club who distributed Apexi stuff, and I've had these gauges lying around for 2 years. I know guys on rexnet do mention Greenline a lot.

I have the same panel but I will be feeling the holes so it doesnt have any round plugs holding it into the dash. will try to make some clips so it can just clip in and getting it sprayed the same color as the centre console or done in a brushed aluminium finnish like the tbar.

ZapXR6T, BCL:

The gauge pods that you have look much better than the one that I have. Where would one get those gauge pods that you have? How much would it set me back? What size gauges does it fit?

This may be a stupid question but here goes: - How does one measure the size of their gauges ... is it just measured straight across?

Thanks heaps

Very interested to see this when it's done. Looking for a factory 'look' with guages, which is why I might do the nizpro fairmont clock boost option.
