Is it just me or have people forgotten how to use their indicators, roundabouts, overtaking lanes, merging. :spoton::spoton:

I hope I'm not turning into a old fart but, once I learned how to drive, using indicators was like second nature.

You always could be.......and yes, people have forgotten how to use them. Not only is it annoying, its just poor courtesy. My big peeve is when people dont use them whem merging, just a bit of common decency really, but should you expect it in this day and age of rice and stupidity...no

Next post in English please harvest

Agreed 100% allthough these days as soon as you put your indicator on to merge the dickhead on the road you are merging into decides to put the foot down to get in front of you.

This is one of my pet hates too!!!

I was getting myself so uptight over it I had to get therapy - you know, a shrink. After just a couple of sessions I am cured. This is what I do. Firstly, drive along in two lanes. This way can claim ownership of both and don't need to indicate which one you wish to use at any particular moment. Also, by weaving left and right ever so slightly it keeps the bogans behind at a safe distance! Secondly, when approaching roundabouts I turn on the hazard lights - let them figure out which way I'm going. Makes 'em stop and give way to me every time!

Of course all the above works quite well for me while I'm in the bus - might be different if I was driving my car ... :kissmy::w00t2:

Awww come on!

There is nothing better than sitting at a T intersection waiting for oncoming traffic to come through, when at the last extreme minute they turn :w00t2::kissmy: ..... that's when I give them some of these ones... :w00t2:

Agreed all round - sure way to p$ss me off!! Worst cases - 1 / at roundabouts , I once almost got cleaned up by a guy turning right but just going around with no indicator and had the hide to blow his horn at me - bloody 4WD owners. 2 /peak hour busy two lane road , stop second behind a car in right lane at lights , as not indicating , presume going straight through like yourself. Only when lights go green very slowly creeps forward and puts on indicator - you get stuck in right lane behind the inconsiderate w@#ker !

aarrrggghh. As velvet glove says above -it justs a decent thing to do . Obviously lacking in this day and age.Fair dinkum .

Canberra people are the world leaders in using their indicators incorrectly while negotiating roundabouts. :kissmy: Most of them turn their right indicator on when they are travelling straight ahead. :glad:
