Hrmm, just leaving it in 4th(sss) or 5th (manual) for wet overtaking is the solution....

You would still have enough grunt there to overtake as if standard but should be allot easier to prevent wheelspin.

Now this might seem like a captain obvious type comment, well it isn't. When you are driving in the wet, most people simply do not think about it enough and just use the gear that they would normally use for any given situation... You just need to add a gear to whatever you do to be sure.

Hell, even in dads standard ghia 6, traction is an issue in 2nd (though the ghia's don't have lsd, damnit) coming out of say, toll gates.
