Posted 13/10/04 05:53 AM Share Posted 13/10/04 05:53 AM If you have phaseII (260rwkw's+) or greater, traction won't be a problem. You won't have any. Geea. You will just need a pair of adjustable Konis and depending on how much power you go for you may have to add tramp rods, but hey, they aren't expensive so go for it. What Geea said...Ok for straight lines......... All the roads I drive are nothing more than a series of straight lines ... It doesn't seem to matter if I'm in a ute (beam axle, leaf springs) or an AU (IRS, double wishbone). Traction comes back to two things:- how well the suspension is matched to the vehicle's weight and power, and how good the driver is with his right foot. What's the point of worrying about traction. Is'nt that the reason why you want more power in the first place. so you don't have any. My ute has plenty of power and it hooks up pretty well. Just depends on how hard you stand on it from a standing start. If you get it moving building up a bit of momentum before you floor it you'll only break traction at 4000 rpm and a little in 2nd just after the change then your goooooone. macka
