I currently own a cobalt blue ED XR6. It looks great, but shows scratches and stone chips very badly. Also have a black Expensive Daewoo Vectra in the family (please forgive me!), and although I love that colour, it is even worse than the cobalt blue XR6.

Personally, I'm considering the Mercury, as it looks great if you get the windows tinted, and won't show the chips and scratches that you'll invariably get. Also, I'll probably be keeping my car for more than 3 years, so my only fear is that the dark colours may start to show their age. That said, the Phantom does look great though!

If you want to be noticed B) , and be recognised instantly as driving an XR, then go the Phantom - you can spot em a mile off, and you know straight away what is coming at you . :augen: This may be a positive or a negative, depending on your point of view.

Mercury is good, but its also available on non-XRs, and heaps of other makes and models in one form or another. Exclusivity factor is therefore lower, but blending in factor higher. Again, depends on what you want.

Cool.

Your choice, hey, lets face it, no matter what colour you choose, you are going to have a kickass beast of a car that will continue to turn heads no matter where you go.

Cobalt Blue ED XR6, cool, I had a "Polynesian Green" ED XR6, great colour, awesome colour, probably like phantom over "Cobalt Blue" though. :auto:

Agree with the other comments.

Phantom if you want to be noticed - it does look good.

I have gone for Mercury - great gun metal colour. Doesnt show the dirt as much.

Blend in more so less likey to attract vandals etc.

I reckon picking the colour is the hardest decision to make when ordering the XR6T. Which ever colour you choose, you will have a great car that will turn heads.

I voted Mercury Silver, but that's just my preference. Phantom is a very popular colour. Good luck making up your mind!
