Any chance these would fit straight on to the T,and would it be worth it?

One can only assume they would fit, and would be worth it for potential future mods, but at the price ford will charge it probably wont be financially worth it.

I'd be inserested in the oil cooler, but may need to sit down for the price!

Cant you already get an oil cooler from ford? I though one was fitted with one of the tow packs.

Looking at it at the car show it seems as though it uses the same piping as the turbo. Why would you want to fit it though? the standard one is good for phase 2 and to run above you need to modify the wastegate functions of the T, so you might as well get the larger aps kit.

I'm interested in the oil cooler though. Any word on pricing MS700?

Nope!

Will probably have pricing closer to the end of the year. November if youre lucky!

I saw the oil cooler, very compact, water to oil design, looked really good. Just goes between the oil filter and the pump. Nice and compact. You pump coolant through it via the heater bypass hoses.

are these types of coolers any better than the ones that sit out front? Or are they just smaller in size?

In theory they should be given the fact water has better cooling characteristics in comparison to air. Just think about when you have a hot piece of steel you have just had on the grinder (blowing it with you mouth is hardly as effective as dipping it in water). The same effect can be had with water based coolers (even porsche eventually gave up on air cooling their cars haha!).

Most turbo Nissans use the water based oil coolers they are very small and only coolant passes through them so when the cooling medium is already 90 deg C you can be pretty sure they aren't really very good, and to that the very small area exposed to the coolant and you can be pretty sure they aren't much good. A proper front mounted air exchanger is much better when you consider a decent ized one will have at least 1000% greater surface area
