Definately an abundance of XR's in Canberra at the moment. I was at Bunnings on Sunday and in the carpark examined a Blueprint N/A and a Citric Acid XR6T (manual).

I checked my order with Gregory's on Thursday and discovered they had changed the interior I'd ordered from the Blueprint interior to standard XR grey. I was a little disappointed but then checked out a blueprint interior in a ute - got to admit it looks OK in a ute but a bit too much for me in the sedan so will let the order stand.

Does anyone know the NCO's with premium audio - salesmen mentioned somehting about premium audio with a 54 option instead of a 53 option whatever that means????

Red turbo for me! B) NFI about your sound system codes. Salesmen at Gregory's wouldn't know their @r$e from their elbow. The utes get a "different" Premium sound system, no sub or amp but still a six stacker, maybe this is what they are talking about.

The Utes DO NOT get Premium sound. They can be optioned with Prestige sound which has a 6 stacker CD, but no colour screen and no sub woolfer.

I was in Canberra on Sunday - actually at an Italian car show. As I was leaving (and this is a show with lots of Ferraris, Lambos and other exotica) a guy stopped in the middle of the road to take a pic of the XR!

Also saw an acid rush in Manuka shopping centre when I stopped off for lunch.

I'm waiting for Series 2 to come along but can be seen regularly druelling on XR6-T's or inadvertently watching forum members' XR6-T's whilst driving thru roundabouts

In the meantime using hoon camoflauge ie. TN Magna  Keep an eye out for a big thumb sticking out of driver's window.

Agree with Falchoon about the stories from dealers ie Gregorys and the different versions thereof. I've gotten 3 versions of what the premium brakes are (and utterly confused...oh well). Although they did have a sweet looking Herrod version of a Futura V8 there.

Yeh they had (still have?) a nice Phantom XR8 there with Leather trim, 18s and Premium Sound. I asked one of the sales guys what else it had. "Fully loaded" he said. OK, I said to myself, so where are the Premium brakes, the REX/DVD, SATNAV, Momo wheel and gear knob, sunroof etc etc. :innocent:

Is that the Acid Rush car you are talking about Matt? Nice wheels.
