Like I said the clutch is upgraded its a AP racing twin plate clutch and dont you think that motor is allready balanced with Billet rods,Love to see what a Boss edit will do to the F6 :spoton::ermm:

Yes, this may be true but for the 14K differnce between the T and the F6 you could purchase a T and mod it for greater potential for higher KW.

Still the F6 has something that the T doesn't and that is exclusivity due to its higher price.

You change the rod's for $6 to $7k add the phase 3 kit $10k valve springs$770 auto upgrade$1000 with cooler and a 3.7 diff ratio change $1100 plus tunes there's over $20k

Add to the F6 968 inj,Exede, exhuast ,and tune for under $5k for the same pwr you do the figures :spoton:

A phase III equipped T with the additions you describe above should be able to outperform the typhoon with the mods you listed. You could also get forged pistons and the motor balanced included with the T.

I'd assume the typhoons intercooler would run out of capacity, and you'd need to change the boost controller as well.

To be honest you are looking at similar money either way, although stage III T would have more potential because of its larger intercooler, better airflow and piping.

Aps are probably looking at upgrades for the typhoon as well, but its going to be a 70K car either way :msm:

While it is difficult to advise anyone, because we are all unique individuals with unique thoughts, feelings, aspirations, enjoyment parameters etc, having recently faced this decision, this is what I did:

Before I made my decision, I checked out the F6 Typhoon, and yes it would be a great car to drive, but rather than shell out $30,000+ for a trade-in changeover on a 4 month old (May 2004) XR6T, I'd rather pay much less for an even quicker car. :w00t2:

In short,

* my head said APS Phase II - costs much less than an F6 Typhoon

* my heart said APS Phase II - is quicker than an F6 Typhoon

* my soul said APS Phase II - the Phase II power delivery will be good for my soul :ermm:

With my mind, heart and soul all agreeing on the same decision outcome, how could I resist? :msm:

Motor only has a balanced crank, and the rods are not billet.

Motor only has a balanced crank, and the rods are not billet.

I beg to differ as the distributor that supplyed the rods that are in Rumble(Geea's car) is the sole supplyer to Ford and they are billet rods Joe(xrsex) can confirm this as he is friends with the supplyer
