From a seasoned campainer (see wash counter below).

Gold Class wash, use loop pile cotton towels to dry with no excess pressure applied whilst doing so. Never use a chamois. Then spend some time getting the water out from under those hidy sports. ie. wing mirrors, rear number plate, door handles, boot and bonnet edges etc. Water on the waxing pad is the pits.

Carnarba wax gently with Meguires pads applied in straight lines to the bodywork in the shade. Only use the polish on the lower sill and bumpers where she picks up excess muck.

Not one swirl mark on my baby... (well a couple of tiny ones, but you get the idea that she looks superb!! ) :ermm:

good luck.

ps. Nice ride there Bernoo but I think my Silhouette would kill her for shine.... :msm:

I only use Gold Class wash, and Gold class wax. Have never polished my T, and dont intend on polishing it ever.

I am extremely fussy when it comes to car care.

I would have said you are anally retentative about car care mate

Another Gold Class fan-boy here, have been using it on my last few cars with good results. Just make sure that you use new applicators and buffing towels every time to prevent scratches.

Has anyone tried the new Meguires NTX Techwax stuff? Not sure if it is available here yet, but the americans rave about it on other car forums.

I use the Meguiar's Gold Class wash, Gold Class Prep & swirl remover and Gold class wax. The Prep & swirl remover is worth while doing to give a good base for the wax, after the prep the surface is pretty good, then the wax finished it off.
