As I was driving away from work last night one I my work mates noticed a blue smoke coming from the exhaust. He informed of this problem this morning. The T has done 11,000km and I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. What is it and should I start panicing. Get the usual response, "that's strange we'll check it out, never seen that happen before......and so on"Anyway thanks again!! good thing to do is, let your car warm up when starting it, dont drive if you havent turned it on since the night etc..starting/stopping is what kills cars especially in the cold weather, wear and tear is just massive.A mates RX8, he use to start it after 2 days of not driving it and drift it around the corner then rip burnouts....blue smoke? heeps! how long did his car last? 3 months...Another thing to pay close attention to is make sure you wait at least 1 minute before switching the car off after a mad thrashing....helps the life of your turbo..despite the fact we have GT35-40's in our T's, doesnt make it bullet proof.
