The F6 is the stand out for sure and IMO provide the best possible resale. For me having owned a BOSS XR8 I would really miss the presence of the bonnet bulge in a BA Falcon now. I think they (FPV) should consider some sort of 'stand-out' feature on the car that is unique to that model. The XR6T also suffers from this problem.

Do you think FPV would go for something like this. :spoton:

I say bring back the GTHO

NO!

I reckon they should not bring back the GTHO. Not just yet anyway. Can you imagine FPV building a 350kw GTHO, only to have Clubsports with similar outputs within a few months?

The original GTHOs were unbeatable for 20 years. A new one would need to be that too.

The ONLY reason the GTHO was unbeatable for 20 years was the government "ban" after Evan Green's supercar scare story.

Note: the GTHO was unbeatable by only australian cars, there were lots of yank, euros and jap stuff that made it look like a billycart.

Sorry, but that is the truth.

E.G of faster cars, Corvette, Cobra (yank), porsche turbo, M5, lambos, ferrari, skyline GTR..... you get the idea

I think Ford need to pick up ther game ALOT. The FPV range is dismal and disapointing, im talking about the V8 range. I am embarresed as a Ford fan to see Holded bettering them more and more and the gap is just getting bigger due to the LS2.. 6L...

I just hope this gearbox inproves their times because currently I can't see how u can call this comfy highway saloon a performance car.. 0-100 6sec what a joke!!!

Ford can you do something about this cause even the SS is kickingour buts (V8 range only)

Im quite happy with the TYPHOON though but I reckon the only thing holding back this F6 is the crap performance of the V8's, they can't make this beast outrun the V8 range so they got it on a leesh....

Anyway I have never in my life been more adiment on never concidering a Ford V8, not with what the darkside has to offer!!!!

Sorry if I am being harsh but its my opinion so get over it!!

Daniel.

I was unaware that the M5 was built in 1971.

The GTHO for a sedan was one of the quickest things going around at the time. Of course other sedans were going to catch up over time.

Most of the American muscle cars were quarter mile bruises first and for most, handling wasn’t a priority like it was on the Phase 3 which was a homologated track car at the time.
