Pathetic.

Whats pathetic? That truck is old and bloody quick! GM released 2 cars with that turbo 6 cyl, GMC Typhoon and Syclone... The Typhoon and Syclone are AWD (not 4x4) A friend of mine over here has a Typhoon and I can vouch for how quick these things are, he hasnt run his yet, but would have to come close to a high 11 second pass...

Here is some times that's owners get on average, not magazines...

Stock Typhoon (1992-93) - 13.8 second ¼

Stock Syclone (1991) - 13.6 second ¼

These engines like the XR6 T are very easy to make quick with hardly any effort. Only thing I see pathetic is some peoples attitude when other cars are mensioned that dont wear the blue oval...

A high-powered vehicle with a high centre of gravity = risky business.

A black shoebox made to go fast? Only in America.

I hate it say it, but most American cars are crap - poorly designed, poor build quality. I know, I owned one for 4 yrs...it looked good though, and the drivetrain was solid - the rest was tripe.

I think it is different and quick, a combo I like. But why go to all that trouble with the engine build and leave the air pod in the engine bay directly above the bloody big turbo.

Heat soak anyone?

No he had it right, majority of American cars are crap in build quality. No one is claiming this to be a track racer, it rips off quick ¼ miles so why does its centre of gravity matter? Which by the way wouldnt be as high as you probably think/ Put on of these day next to a Ford Explorer and you will soon see how much lower it actually is. Those pics are decieving... Yes Cobra, F250 is fun to get upto speed, and once again no one claims a F250 to "handle" :) You getting the Diesel?
