Apart from waiting 45 minutes for a run, wouldn`t a trip to the drags be more cost effective ( WSID $45.00 = 5-7 runs ).

You can legally do 160km/h ++, a burnout and you get a time slip.

Just my opinion

Just like a dyno, the GTech type devices are a tuning tool.. You do not need to always do a 1/4 mile. You can get a lot of info from 0-100kmh and many other modes. They are also something that can give you cornering G's for suspension and braking performance figures and they last for years...they also have a shift light

I have only ever used my G-Tech for 0-100kmh runs on the street, or should I say the side of the highway. So it isnt exactly illegal considering its a 100 zone. Willowbank was the first time I have used the 1/4 mile function. And for $120 I paid for my (older version) Gtech I think it is good value.

Dazza.
