Has anybody ever tried the Hi Clone product?

This product has been around for a number of years and promises good fuel savings and increased power for little outlay.

Having done a search and found nothing about it suggests to me that it is either the worlds best kept secret or a tried and tested loser in the world of mods.

For those that have'nt come across the Hi Clone, check out the site, for those that have, whats the go.

Up to 10% increase if power and up to 20% in fuel savings for $160 (30 day money back guarantee) unbelievable but true?? :spoton:

If it sits in the air intake before the turbo wouldn't any of it’s “cyclone” inducing effects be lost as a result of the turbo compressing the air, passing through the intercooler etc…..? I’m certainly not a mechanical wiz, but I can’t see how the thing would actually work…..

Its not made for turbo cars, only carby ans EFI. My opinion on it is putting something in your air intake that blocks it partially isnt good. Look at how much better cars go if the air flow meter is removed after ECU upgrades.

It may not be made for turbo engines, but the certainly advocate it’s use on them:

“Q: How does HICLONE work?

A: It is a non-moving, fixed, maintenance-free part that fits inside the air filter housing or in the air hose on EFI, Turbo and Diesel vehicles”
