Yep,

Mine is "Flat Matt Black"

Phantom (Prestige Paint). You would think the $200 + upgrade would cover the damn engine bay as well....Hmmmm.

Gotta say I really like it, wonder how much it would cost to get my crappy matt black painted phantom.

Probably a lot, remember they would have to pratically pull the damn thing apart to do so

I paid full price for mine so I guess they painted the engine bay the same colour, all the guys or gals with out a matching engine bay did you buy the car at a discount rate. It's just an idea!!!! :D

I bought my UTE under ford employee discount and my friend who is a supervisor in assebly plant ask management for special request to have my engine bay painted.

So anyone else out there with painted engine bay is very lucky.

You guys are missing the piont, this extra paint in the engine bay is not an option, you can not pay extra to have it done cos it holds up the production line and ATM ford can't make enough, hence all the delays people are experiencing.

However you will find that most cars have a engine painted flat black.

None of the Prestige Painted cars have there engine bays painted, some may have flat colour depends if theres extra undercoat in the gun at time of painting..
