Standard Tune - for the g/f etc2. Enhanced Tune - for me and everyday driving3. 1/4 Tune - I haven't been yet but one day when the car can be prioritised higher again I'd like to head out with the Vic boys for some fun!4. Travel Tune - so when I cant put Optimax in I can run safely on standard petrolI can see why this is pretty exciting... that said, if a better chip that can do more features for tune number 2 only supports 1 map.. then I'd lean that way as that would be the map used 95% of the time.Cheers,Miyagi Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/13131-unichip-scoop/page/3/#findComment-170944 Share on other sites

Or should I go to CAPA, I hear CAPA's lump is the same just cheaper. Posted 30/09/04 11:14 PM Author Share Posted 30/09/04 11:14 PM I was hoping to keep this mod a secret until I had finished my R&D on it. Most of what has been said is correct. If your after ADR compliance you're probably better off sticking with the APS item. The Herrod item is good but will only do the same as the CAPA item with a 20% mark up in price. After looking at the products that the main tuners have I have developed my own. It can be made in your own shed and self installed the total cost is well under 1/4 of what the other products are asking. I have two options aswell. For those worried about regulations there is the standard item and for those not so concerned there is the gutted item. I have included a picture of the gutted item and I don't believe that yuou could tell the difference from the non-gutted. I doubt that even if you were pulled ovwer you'd get done for it.Geea.
