but given enough road 200mph easy for high powered cars with the correct gearing

It's just a shame racewars isn't 1mile (1600mts).  The high powered cars could really stretch their  legs.

That APS run on a salt flat or whatever was like a few kms long wasn't it?  Very impressive the cars that can top 300km/h over only 1000m.

Yeh but with more road we could go even faster. Standing mile is where it's at.  Yanks know how to do it.

I would run out of gearing any further than the 1000m, that and I don't have the power to pull 6th 

 

Not interested in changing ratio that will effect the daily drive ability of my car

is this the fastest an XR6T has ever been? from what I've seen, it looks that way. 310km/h in 1000m - that's BOOKIN' it
