I think my heart stopped for a breif second, it was the loudest thing I ever heard, and the lightning looked like it wasnt too far away...I captured the footage onto my computer with windows movie maker, so the clip might not work on all pc's (should work on all xp machines)only around 120kb too...http://www.gamers-hq.nl/ew/new/lightning.WMVI cut it a lil short of my cursing... There was so much light from the repeated flashes of lightning, my regulator thought the sun had risen and turned off the lights... Now that's an impressive thunderstorm. Wish we had a storm like that down in Melbourne last night. Love when storms hit bcs ive got a house on top of a large hill with great views and its good to watch. With most server storm cells you will get large hail, was there any?
-carty nutter Member 1,966 Member For: 21y 27d Location: Wagga Wagga Posted 29/09/04 01:57 AM Author Share Posted 29/09/04 01:57 AM (edited) nah no hail, I could hear small amount of thunder out to the west, and then this huge downpour of rain (38points) in about 10-20 mins, when the rain stopped, all the windows started to light up now and then, so I thought id go out and video tape it...also, those in canberra you prob copped the same storm we had, because the storm moved to the east, get much rain out that way?
