Well, all about image eh?..

Coming home the other night, what do I see on Melbourne's Western Ring road.. A VX SS Commode. Now that's different. First one I've seen.

I just usually look for that thing sitting on top of the roof and the writing on the side of the car which says "taxi". :D

Me too. I find that that is usually a bit of a giveaway!

Its hard to explain.. its more like how they have it in the US same models, same colour.. its easily to identify if the car is a cab or not..

Sorry Chris, but in the States they've been using Ford Crown Victorias, Chevi Caprices, Chevy Impalas and various minivans, all in the last several years.

Get me an XR can any day - especially in Acid Rush or Cirtus whatever that green colour is!

Just the right colour to make the old pizza and a 6 pack joke come true every time!

I think its a good thing to show that fords r reliable and can last the distance

I mean as some1 mentioned earlier an EL with 750,000kms out of the same engine with just regular servicing done and to be only on its second gear box has got to make an EL proud to know that is can be that reliable 4 so many kms

sure Expensive Daewoo say we prefer commodores to be used as cop cars...u have a look or a drive of a ex Late model camira cop car after 40,000kms and its just about dead

so I think its a good thing 4 falcons to be used as taxis cause it shows ppl they can go the distance there not just a throw away car after a yr or 2

cheers

robert
