After owning a VN,VP,VT & VX supercharged Late model camira I was urged to test drive an XR6T by my brother. Imagine that a confirmed Expensive Daewoo man driving a Ford BUT I loved it the power, the look , the suspension, the handling the note it leaves the Expensive Daewoo SS way way way behind. Had it a month now and I love it, :nono: best decision I ever made and the Envi Colour is Beautiful.

Go Ford Go XR6T.

good on ya.

I went from a hsv senator and the first thing I noticed was the suspension. the suspension set up on the t felt sooooo much better.

then I hit the accelerator and it was good bye to any thoughts of 'did I do the right thing'.

have fun.

Aint it nice to have no regrets. VN (x 2), VP, VT, WRX then a spiritual awakening to the T. :spoton:

Congratulations Im sure you wont have any regrets, the ba is a great car it's a pitty more holder drivers don't have a test drive of a real car. The XR6T is certainly better than driving around in a 1960's Kelvinator fridge. Welcome to the site.

Cheers Brian.

I have also noticed the difference in the suspension setups between my mates VY SS and the BA XR6T. From what I have experienced on extended drives in the hills and around town, the VY tends to crash through larger bumps at city speeds and gets unsettled mid corner at higher speed because of it, plus the ride seems a lot firmer, which is especially noticable on speed humps.

The XR6T seems to be able to absorb bumps a lot better and doesn't seem to get unsettled that badly by mid corner bumps. Nothing compares to my mates MY01 WRX for harshness over bumps! Like riding in a go kart! Has anyone driven a BA Ghia? The one I drove felt really soft and a little floaty. Absorbed anything that was thrown at it but not sure how it would go in the hills though.. :spoton:
