Come for a ride in one with over 700 then you will see what it is really like!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Is this ENGINE 700nm ??? or rear wheel???<{POST_SNAPBACK}>That would be engine torque mate, rear wheel torque would be much much higher due to gear rudections. Then its called tractive effort. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/13094-f6-tornado/page/4/#findComment-180593 Share on other sites
Guest bozo Guests Posted 20/11/04 10:43 AM Share Posted 20/11/04 10:43 AM to the dude who reckons that xr8 and xr6 live axle utes pump a maloo you better get in the real world they weigh like 200kg more and have less power as we all know the heavier an object is the harder it is to move off the line. my xr6 turbo and my mates xr8 dont even go near my mates 285 maloo, they are all stockies Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/13094-f6-tornado/page/4/#findComment-189342 Share on other sites

In both these areas the XR6T or XR8 are better equipped than a Maloo. However at higher speeds and higher revs I can see the Maloo winning out. Its a 260 though, but every time we take off, boost = win every time. Its fast once your moving, couldn't but a paper towel between us! But form a stand still its the turbo every time, and they are both manuals. He reckons its the fact that 1st runs to 80 in the VY. Guest Guests Posted 21/11/04 03:55 AM Share Posted 21/11/04 03:55 AM I know my mate had his ass handed to him when he ran a new clubsport at a set of lights, his GT didn't have a chance. All I could say to him at the time was, "its time to lose some weight tubby...."Sorry FPV lovers, time to cut out the carbs and put that snack down and say no to another peace of crackle you porky BA'steds. Just don't ever go to far and get your self an eating disorder, like a REX, skin and bones those REX's, skin and bones.
