Mattchew,

you gotta drive it like a manual or the thing shifts/doesn't shift when you want it to. The rex has a button that holds it in whatever gear the lever is in just like a manual would, and also provides a 50/50 torque split front and rear. This is not available in manual rexes.

The SSS should be great for this, so I can't understand why ppl aren't getting good times. Maybe it's practise. Also, with the auto, there's only one gear change necc before you hit 100...

Talking about the SSS, personally I find just leave the bugger in performance mode and let her rip. The bloody thing hits the rev limiter to quick in first if your not watching, Let the auto work its not bad for an auto.

worst car I have seen 4 slow off the mark was my mates S13 Silvia auto

it hardly moves off the mark

I think a manual will always be quicker off the mark and better in the long run

sure if u try and build the revs up..but I dont think that will be doing your Gearbox any good at all

I dont think I will ever buy an auto after the problems ppl I know who have had probs with them

4 example my old man has owned 2 autos in his life EB 6 cylinder and a EL 6 cylinder, EB's box started to play up at 180,000kms and the EL's at 130,000km ...the EL was the last automatic my old man said he will ever own

cheers
