I believe "God" is purely something for those that can't explain why things are the way they are. In an evolving and more learned civilisation I think that it's time we finally accepted that the idea of a "God" that created everything and controls all, should be once and for all dimissed.

The only reason it's still ongoing is to support the financial situation of the the churches and the freak evangilists who profit from those they have following them.

The whole hypocracy thing also shows what a croc the so called religious leaders are. Priests who have sex with underage kids...church leaders who have sex while married.....people killing people in the name of "God/Allah".

On my 1st visit to this thread, I'm horrified to see bara & lumpy has supplied thoughts on the matter, however they have an opinion & the right to share it.

As Miss_Ally suggested I think this topic should be taboo around here.

Take hello for example"keying a car is good"...you didnt hear that in church

Back in the bow and arrow days,even though you hated going to church,religion gave you values to live up to,like no one would have ever thought to robb an old granny,push her to the groung,flogg her purse,break her hip for 5 bob..

Even stealing a car was like;WOW,BIG CRIME!!!! You didnt swear at cops,or in front of ladys for that matter,you opened the doors for them!!!

I DO have a trouble with organised religion and it's hypocrisy, but if it makes people secure and snug in their little bed, so be it...
