Craig, was rumble originally phase 3 when you picked it up?? If it was did it not have the APS pipe to the throttle body, and is that an APS design pod filter in the guard?

have you got the battery in the boot coz I cant find it in the engine bay

Yep sure is. :censored:

Jeff did most of the original work, but it wasn't really a Phase III or even II. The engine has had the rods changed and been balanced and blueprinted. There was a unichip with an APS intercooler. I think it might have APS valve springs aswell. The airbox was standard with 2 holes open to the engine bay. It had the 968 injectors. It also has a 4" cat with 4"exhaust that splits into twin 3" out the back. The intercooler originally plumbed back into the factory crossover pipe.

The pod filter in the guard is an Amberley design and I think at this stage its a one off. Nodoubt if people ask they will do others. Here are 3 photos of the engine bay before Amberley modified the pipework.

Great work Geea, <_<

Good to see you came up with a way of ditching that restrictive crossover bull :glad: Ford provided for us.

Hope it gives you that little bit extra to crack into the 11 sec

Thanks guys.

Miyagi, I'd like to take the credit for bing an innovator but I can't. I actually asked Amberley if they could do something similar to the APS or Nizpro Pod filter setups in a box where the battery was. I was told "we'll do the best we can". To say I'm impressed would be an understatement. I was amazed at what they have done. I too was thinking of the shaker, I think its probably the best air intake around at the moment for the "T". After alot of thought though I realised that I couldn't afford one at the moment and will hopefully get a V8 bonnet some stage in the future.

Ducatijb, thanks John. As we both know Jeff sold me a car that was always going to be a great starting point. I'm just continuing his good work. I'm hoping that at somestage Jeff will be able to take Rumble for a spin and give me his thoughts.

Macka, thanks Neil. I'm hoping for an 11 and will be a little disapointed if I don't get it. I shouldd find out more about the auto on wednesday, I'll keep everyone informed.

Geea. <_<
